VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ON WITNESS, OUTREACH AND NURTURE COMMITTEES

The ministry work of the church is carried out by committed and passionate laity.  The United Methodist  Church beliefs every member is a ministry and is tasked with a mission to 'make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.'

With the new year, new local leadership steps into place to dream and act in the church and in its community. Volunteers are needed to support specific projects and ongoing needs.

WITNESS is the ministry area that is concerned with communications (webpage, Facebook, newsletter, press releases) about events and programs, as well as spreading the story of the Gospel shared locally and its work in local lives. Coordinator: Marilyn A. Hudson

OUTREACH is the ministry area that is tasked with locating, planning, and implementing ways to meet needs in the church and in the community to share God's love in tangible ways.Coordinator: JoDawna Smith

NURTURE is the ministry area focused on building Christian lives that are learning, serving, praying and living the Gospel.  Coordinator: Carol Reich

The UMC believes that we are to be the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus Christ in the lives of our church members, our local community, our nation and our world.

Let these lay leaders know you want to make a difference! The group will meet to plan Monday, Feb. 29 at 10 a.m at Barnard Memorial UMC, 8th and Gulf, Holdenville, Ok.
